Revolution Semiconductor and Magma Design Automation Seminars

Revolution Semiconductor Labs and Magma Design Automation held a joint event on 25/5/2011 in ITU ARI Teknokent at Istanbul. The seminar was attended by engineers from various local companies, including Ericsson, Maxim, Hittite Microwave, Vestek and MKR-IC.

Magma Design Automation was represented by Mr. Eric Laurent and Mr. Barry Woodcock. Barry Woodcock, a senior applications engineer based at Reading, UK showcased Magma's newest design automation solutions including Talus suite, Titan mixed-signal design platform, Finesim mixed-signal simulator, Quartz DRC/LVS, SiliconSmart and QuickCap library extraction and characterization solutions targeted at companies of all sizes. The seminar was enthusiastically attended by the engineers from the local integrated circuit design community.

Following the seminar, a Q&A session was held where the attendees could field questions related to their current design automation challenges. As a parting gift, Mr. Laurent presented all participants a USB memory stick.
