Dr. Eskiyerli has earned a B.Sc. degree from Bogazici University at Istanbul in 1990, an M.S. degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA in 1992 and a Ph.D. degree from Imperial College London all in Electronic Engineering in 1998.
Dr. Eskiyerli had worked in US, UK and Turkey for various companies such as Sony, National Semiconductor (now TI), Pericom, Analog Devices and Cambridge Silicon Radio. He also did consulting work for US, UK, UAE, Greek and Turkish companies in analogue, RF and mixed-signal integrated circuit design. He has been appointed an external expert in the evaluation of EU Framework Programme 7 (FP7), H2020, Euripides, and Eurostars project proposals as well as two ongoing projects. He is registered with UK Engineering Council as a Chartered Engineer. He has been awarded four (4) US patents and published extensively in refereed journals and conferences. He is a member of IET, IEEE and EuMW.
Dr. Eskiyerli is the founder and managing director of Revolution Semiconductor. He is an experienced semiconductor entrepreneur with twenty years of experience both in top semiconductor companies such as Sony, National Semiconductor, Analog Devices and Cambridge Silicon Radio and much smaller companies such as Macom, Pericom and Theta Microelectronics.
